What began as a new chapter for our family has grown into a shared passion built on hospitality, hard work, and a genuine love of bringing people together. As a family-owned and operated restaurant, The Nest is a reflection of who we are—a place where memories are made around the table, conversations linger a little longer, and guests quickly become friends.
Our story began far from the restaurant industry. Robin and Scott spent their careers in the automotive business, eventually joined by their daughter, Mackenzie, building businesses centered around service, relationships, and trust. When Robin and Scott sold their dealerships and began looking toward retirement, our family found ourselves drawn to a very different kind of business—one focused not on selling products, but on creating experiences.
By then, Mackenzie had already found her passion in the restaurant and event industry, discovering how rewarding it was to bring people together and help them celebrate life’s most meaningful moments. Her fiancé, Connor, had built his career in the culinary world, developing a deep appreciation for quality ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and the craft behind a memorable meal.
It turned out that our different backgrounds complemented one another perfectly, and together, they became the foundation for The Nest.
Today, every part of The Nest reflects the family behind it. Robin and Scott bring the experience, wisdom, and entrepreneurial spirit that have always been at the heart of our family. Mackenzie leads with a passion for hospitality, events, and creating memorable experiences for every guest who walks through our doors. Connor brings his culinary expertise to the kitchen, transforming fresh, quality ingredients into thoughtful, chef driven dishes.
Together, we’ve created something that feels like much more than a restaurant. We’ve created our family’s nest—a place to gather, celebrate, unwind, and make memories—and we’re honored to share it with yours.
